GTA 6 Leaks Again: Cyberleek Drops 25 Minutes of Gameplay

GTA 6: the Cyberleek leak, explained

Six weeks before launch, GTA 6 just leaked. Again. And this time it’s 25 minutes long.

What dropped

On October 8, the leaker Cyberleek posted a file called “GTA 6: An Extended Leek.” It’s about 25 minutes of footage, the longest drop yet. It reportedly shows Jason and Lucia in gameplay, plus story spoilers and mature content.

The big one: first-person

The clip that has everyone talking shows first-person driving and walking. Problem: Rockstar has already said there’s no full first-person mode at launch. Some clips also show a developer menu (yes, someone spawns a tank), so this looks like an unfinished build. Features in dev builds change all the time.

Is it real?

Nobody knows yet. Rockstar hasn’t said a word, and no outlet has verified it. Treat everything in it as “maybe.”

Who is Cyberleek?

An anonymous leaker who started posting GTA 6 clips in August, calling it a protest against pre-orders and digital-only games. The twist: the leaks were tied to a crypto coin, and around $250,000 was cashed out before it crashed. Take-Two has reportedly gone to court to unmask them.

How we got here

  1. Aug 18Cyberleek posts the first GTA 6 clips
  2. Late AugAbout $250,000 cashed out of the $CYBERLEEK coin
  3. Oct 8The 25-minute “Extended Leek” drops
  4. Nov 19GTA 6 launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

My take

I’m not watching it. It’s half-finished and full of spoilers, and the real game is like six weeks away. I’d rather go in blind. If you’re the same, mute “GTA 6 leak” for a bit.
